Room 302 – Agrippina

A charismatic woman with a strong personality, Agrippina was the first sovereign to rule, during the early years of her son Nerone’ s reign, with the title of Augusta, a title granted only to female figures who had managed to distinguish themselves during their lives.
She was burried in what is now known as the Tomb of Agrippina, located in the Marina Grande in Bacoli, where you can admire the remains of a small theatre built in the Augustan age.
